simply put.

it means that you have to own the company's stock to sell it short.

speculators have made a killing over the last few years colluding with 'analysts' beating down the stock price while having short positions.

that will be for all stocks soon to be.......buying short is causing market turmoil and probably soon they will phase out short selling mainly because of the financials.........should help the markets overall....
