There is a rumor going that they laid off 30 more men in Louisville this past Friday. The answer is NO, they didn't. People with sick days left took the day off and it was also the end of the month. Everybody had to go out on the street to make pick-ups and the dock didn't shut down until 230AM. We were very, very busy! Things are getting a little better here. Everybody on the laid off call in list is working that wants to.

Indy is just put up a transfer notice, Any city driver that wants to go to the road board can apply. They have to do that before they can hire Linehaul drivers.
TM say he is going to hire city too.

They posted the crossover list in Louisville two weeks ago and we had five men go to line-haul. They gave out four more recall letters yesterday and they only have ten possible people still to call back. They are now saying that the reason they had to layoff so many people over the winter was because they over hired last year, lol. We just got two new accounts that are adding more jobs. One of them has already started and the other one is starting soon. IT"S A BIG ONE!!! Six to seven full loads a day they say. I just hope the dry spell is over and we stay busy for a long time.
