Haven't talk to any myself but have heard that Fedex drivers are losing money by going straight hourly.

Only those FedEx drivers who are too stubborn or too stupid to drive the speed limit. I do 55 in california, and get my doors blown off by FxF drivers who complain about losing money because of the hourly pay. Do the job you're paid to do. It's really not that difficult to figure out, or maybe it is for some folks.
