YRC claims ABF is not a party to their labor agreement. I know I read that right. What the H#LL is the NMFA if not? NMFA not a labor agreement? Somebody please explain to me what I don't understand here.
YRC renegotiated their terms to the NMFA and was approved by their rank and file. ABF also tried to renegotiate their contract but was voted down by their rank and file. ABF was given the same opportunity the difference is it didn't pass. plain and simple !! ABF's claim of a uneven playing field doesn't really hold much with the recent 3rd quarter numbers released. ABF'S numbers were all positive up turn. The question is why would anyone vote yes to work for the next 5 years for 15% less and give away 5 more work years of pension time.
