OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A powerful winter storm blanketing the state with snow causes problems for motorists in central Oklahoma.
Authorities say one fatal accident and numerous accidents, including a 16-car pileup with injury, has been blamed on the icy roads and blizzard-like conditions.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Hayden Witchey died this morning when his car struck ice on U-S Highway 283 and skidded into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer.
