They can use the decent terminals. Or improve them where needed.

Someting redundant could get rented out to another carrier. So you're at least making money.

For example here in SAC . Some of the terminals are old and decrepit except for our 14 year old palace. But probably rentable.

The SFC terminal in Oakland is a terminal that Roadway built but never moved into and we got. But it's been too small for a long time. So there is a Reddaway or YRC terminal that could supplement it. You could not build a new truck terminal in the Bay Area if you could even find the land.

We were supposedly building in Tracy to help Stockton and SFC but YRC had a huge break terminal there.

Also if OD gets it then Estes can't. So there's that too.

Do you know of many freight terminals in the best parts of cities??
The value of many of those old YRC barns are because they're in areas that aren't easy to build new ones either because of congestion, zoning or other issues.
Good point. I would think but i might be wrong that most of the l.t.l companies have a terminal in most big cities and usually right near another l.t.l carrier.

Part of the story is Yellow owned 169 terminals. The question is which ones. If you remember Rob Estes bought 85 of the YRC terminals in 2009 and then leased them back, So research the terminals you think OD will use and find out if they are still owned by Yellow.
