Overtime was negotiated in the contract by the negotiating committee to address the companies' use of Teamsters' after their regular duty hours so that Teamsters' who are/were laid off would be called back from lay off because of the need for work. UE drivers' are hourly employees who get paid time and a half after normal hours just like local cartage drivers. They are not classified as road driver's who are paid both hourly and by mileage.:smilie_132:
