i see they have an open for p&d driver for some time. Is it any different from delivering grocery trying to get out of the food delivery business. If anyone can help

This imo is not the time to be getting into the LTL business. Most freight company's will get slow through the winter. Here you will be lucky to get 40hrs a week.

Depends on if you're pushing a handtruck up and down a ramp all day, fingerprinting everything or you're just bumping docks at Food Lion. If it's the latter, the only advantage to p&d is weekends off and holidays. No floating holidays here. If it's pushing a handtruck, its a little easier but i wouldn't recommend SEFL. I'd check with OD or UPSF first.
