If you look at it this way there is not any difference between the 2. Other than one works for the company and other works for the union.

union busters have 10x the money, and 10x the lies to scare you away from the union.....

Lets see is i got this right. According to the NLRB laws FEDEX is not allowed to tell lies during the campaigns but the union is allowed to say whatever it whats without any recorse. But your telling me that FEDEX is lying and using scare tactics even though it is illegal but the teamsters are telling nothing but truths even though they can tell all the lies they want.

WOW

Ever wonder why the union reps aren't allowed equal time by those "truth tellers" from the company? Perhaps during the many "captive audience" meetings being held? If you need time to think about it, there is no helping you.

I would like to know who told you that the union could lie? O yes it's in the standard company union bad handbook. Ok so here is what I suggest to you, don't take anyone's word on who is or isn't lying, contact the local in your area and tell them you would like to have a one on one meeting. Just you and who ever you want to talk to and ask questions and see if you can decide for yourself who is actually lying. Then talk to some union drivers in your area and ask them some questions, don't be satisfied with just listening to the company side. There are 2 sides to every story. Ask yourself how do I make an informed decision with only half the information. Then when you get to vote if no is the vote for you then I will tell you congratulations you did what you thought was best for you and your family. Just do your own footwork and believe what you find out.

You are delusional.

There is plenty of money and plenty of misleading, half-truths, tall tales, "my buddy's barn" stories to go around.

Dollars and cents. You don't like his numbers? Just how much would you say the busters invest to derail an organizing campaign? While you're at it, humor us with a few of these stories you speak of also.

OK, since that is your claim what lie has the union told you?

Keep in mind lifer the 2 busters going around are both collecting union pensions and now get paid to speak badly of it.... That makes a lot of sense..... Also keep in mind both of them work for LRI, they are PAID to come in and fight the union. There not doing it for the employees best interests... They are doing it for a damned PROFIT.

Straight from their own website at lrionline.com..

Every day we are fighting a union somewhere. We know the ropes, we have the right people and we use the right tools. Is it important to you to win your campaign, or not? Even if the union is only poking around and hasn’t filed a petition yet, if you’re serious about remaining union-free, pick up the phone and call us now.

I guess FedEx made the call.....

Hhhmmmm.... it would seem Mr. Brock has been busy elsewhere at none other than Jimmy Johns too....

And I quote...

Rebecca Smith and Joe Brock: Who Are These People?

In the last two weeks, many of us at Jimmy John's have had to sit through mandatory meetings with Rebecca Smith and Joe Brock. Rebecca Smith and Joe Brock claim that they just want to give us information so we can decide for ourselves if we want to form a union. The truth is that they are from Labor Relations Institute, Inc., a third-party anti-union company hired by Mike and Rob Mulligan. LRI promises employers that if they are hired, workers will be unable to form a union, or your money back. Their standard fee is $3000 per day, $375 an hour. Do you think the Mulligans pay these people hundreds of dollar an hour to be a neutral voice? Since September 15, we estimate they have been paid $45,000 by the Mulligans, or enough to give every Jimmy Johns worker $200 cash. In a recent campaign against workers organizing a union at Soaring Eagle Casino, LRI made $1.5 million total for their work. Rebecca Smith and Joe Brock have a financial interest in convincing you to vote no. They have a history of using misrepresentations, lies, and subtle threats to divide and conquer workers. Do they deserve our trust? No!

But more importantly...

Joe Brock

• Claims he was a union organizer. The truth is he was a highly paid official, not an organizer.

• Was happy to earn more than $80,000 per year from the Teamsters, then took a pay raise to attack the union members who gave him such a comfortable life style.

• Claims to be a Teamster who left because of problems in the labor movement. He doesn't tell us that he lost an election for office and then sued over losing. The Department of Labor ruled Brock’s claims against his local were baseless. So he quit and became a professional union buster.

• Claims his job as an anti-union consultant lets him help workers improve their lives on the job. Do you really think the Mulligans all of a sudden decided bring Brock here for $3,000 per day to improve conditions? Brock is not here to improve workers’ lives. He is here to earn a buck preventing us from having more input into how this place is run.

Interesting indeed....

Both sides spend about as much as they think it will take. To suggest that one side is telling 10x the lies and spending 10x the money is just hyperbole that weakens the argument.

Tell me one lie the Teamsters have told.

While that might be screaming hypocrisy, and they may have a vested interest in the outcome, that in and of itself doesn't mean you shouldn't consider what they are saying. However, you should find it just as highly suspect as any person getting paid to help organize.

Get opinions and sift through them for independently verifiable facts. Make a decision for yourself.

It doesn't weaken the argument at all when nobody posting against the union can say what lies they have been told.... It actually reinforces it. Lifer said let's hear some of them and..... the sound of silence.....

Just for giggles the Fedex pilots belong to the Air Line Pilots Association. You have to have a college education and years of specialized training. A pilot in training probably doesn't make much more that a senior driver. A senior Captain of a wide body can make up to 246 dollars an hour. Your not on the clock until the wheels start to turn. No dock work required.

I have been waiting weeks to hear a union lie and I don't think there are any. We are told at every mandatory anti-union meeting the company can only tell the truth but the union can lie. It seems to be the reverse. The more I seek the truth they tell me to find, the more I see the company bending the truth and using scare tactics.
