This tues. One of our P&D drivers in Brooklyn, NY. had to back off a set of tracks in Maspeth. The arms never came down, he started across and saw the freight train coming and shoved it into reverse just in time. I believe the statistics are it happens 35 time per day in the US. This Gordon's driver was extremely lucky for sure. Some of these rail crossings in the US are as old as the Civil War.
