This was my first Shepherd Buck. Sadly this pic was taken shortly before he was put down for Cancer 6 years ago. Ramsey is his replacement
I feel ya 4R,Herc has developed a degenerative spine disease and nothing can be done,hes had a good life here and is around 10 and its getting real close to when I have to put him down,thats going to tear me and my family right done to the ground.
I hear you and feel for you. I never thought putting a dog down would be as tough as it was. Shepherds are prone to DM, the degenrative spinal disease but i still keep coming back to this Breed.
