Good luck Stoney!!! As you know, I left an LTL that I had been with for 18 years to go to Wally. It has been worth it for me. No regrets at all..

I saw Walmart trucks running Easter Sunday, that answers 1 question..lol.
I worked for a Grocery store chain, which is pretty much what Walmart is, and Holidays are opposite from LTL. LTL it gets slow, grocery is VERY busy. The more celebrating, and people off from their jobs, the more shoppers in Walmart

In my first interview, I was told Wal-Mart drivers are always home on Christmas Day. Thanksgiving depends seniority.

Easter? Hell ever company runs Easter.

If it matters, I have spoken with several Wally drivers in the past. East coast. The only holiday you are to be home for is Christmas. The rest are if the fall on your scheduled home time. Weekends?? Forget it. Need a lot of guys above you to leave.. Hope that helps

    I passed too.

Ya I knew this stuff, not great, but gotta start somewhere. Many terminals have that 6-3 schedule, I'm hoping to move into one those after awhile.

Christmas is the only holiday I care about. I work most others if i can anyways.
