I have heard that R&L Carriers is going to buy Jevic, has anyone else heard this rumor?
Yeah this is a pretty strong rumor at this time. The deal is supposed to close this month, so we shall find out soon enough.
The rumors I have heard have all been coming from New England area. Where did you hear yours ????
Heard it from Jevic driver in Tennessee
if so then we will just have kept it in the family the jersey social club merging with the ohio social club.

the answer is no// nada will never happen
I saw a set of Jevic doubles the other day. I didn't think there was any such animal.
They are all over the northeast. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I just never seen that before.
Or perhaps just never noticed...
you aint alone. i've never saw such a thing either.
And you're from New York?
I thought that other fella said Jevic doubles were "all over the northeast".
Don't you guys ever read the "Trucking news Forum" we have for you??.....KK
Sun Capital Partners Inc bought JEVIC!
HERE ARE THE REST OF THE BUSINESSES THAT THEY OWN!........KK
You didn't have to tell me R&L wasn't bying Jevic. I didn't believe it from the start. Apparently some people just have too much time on their hands.
I believe the other fella is a city driver so he may not see them as I do.
On the turnpike, or coming out of the Delanco terminal, I see them a lot.
Then again, they are just another set of pups wiggleing up the road, so it depends what you are looking for.
Damn they own alot!
Wow!! that's for sure....and just think....I actually have heard of a few of those companies.
is this forum dead or what?? unreal..
I vote we close this R/L forum..

Interesting that this buyout is their first in trucking and transportation.
They certainly have plenty of resources and capital behind them.
Doesn't Yellow still own Jevic?
Yellow owned Saia and Jevic years ago and sold them off to buy Roadway,Reimer, and New Penn. Saia just sold Jevic to a holding company.
