R&L | R&L buying Jevic

When I was on my Boston bid I hooked up with a Jevic driver, set of short pups, said she was going to Chicago. Cruised along with her to Buffalo and she continued on her merry way. Asked her how she was going to log that as she put it in the big gear and motored on, she said she would take a short nap in her sleeper and be in Chicago in 10 hours after she left me............WOW:busted_blue: :busted_blue:
 
Yea its kind of hard to keep up with us R+L drivers who normally drive straight thru. Good to see she took a break......:mf_monkey:

You got that right, I have had 6 checks bounce in the last 7 weeks!!!!!:captain: I don't mind though, they are a good company to work for even though they are going bankrupt....:wounded1: I work for fun anyway:punk:

I have not heard of any checks bouncing at any terminals in the midwest.

As a matter of fact I was talking to a ward veteran this week and he said they just hired 5 Jevic guys from delanco terminal, Said they left Jevic because it's going downhill fast.
 
Sure seems funny that talk of bounced checks come up around the time we used to get our cost of living raise. Any one else notice this?:nutkick::biglaugh:

for the record R&L are not buying jevic they just closed 4-6 terminals out 10 now they may be buying the jevic equipment such as the heated trlrs and trucks because i did work at jevic for 11years and this is a BS company with poor upper mgmt the holding company is and will slowly tear Jevic down i'm guessing by fall if not by december Jevic will b no longer so for u boys n NC tell you sales people jump on them lost accounts that Jevic had and buy up all the heated trlrs so R&L can prosper.... thnx for time on this matter but i speak the TRUTH...later:nutkick:
 
There has to be a good reason that 5 jevic drivers went to ward. not only is wards bensalem, pa terminal manager from jevic (heard he was escorted off jevics property in delanco by the police when he was fired). What a jackass. But wards p&d drivers get around $23.75/hr. NO O.T. Jevic made less but got OT. Doesn't make sense for someone to leave and start over if jevic wasn't going down.
