XPO | Rebranding today

They did say October....
Talking to some other drivers ( that run Detroit a lot ) , most of the rebranded trailers they see are heading to Canada. They believe it's because Canada has laws that are different , and less forgiving , so XPO has to get rebrand done there before US. Just gossip don't know if it's true.

I know our shop had to slap a xpo logistics sticker on the doors of all Canadian tractors that came through on pm's for that reason. That was shortly after the sale went through.

We talked briefly about rebranding at a meeting this week. Equipment will be rebranded at shop locations, so I was told by our tm. I don't remember the time frame though.

Time Frame ? Everything is going to be rebranded by the end of this year per Mr. Jacobs youtube video short

Not true. The taxes have been paid, no benefit to sending them here. The door decals on cdn units is to do with Canada customs. There was confusion at first because our paperwork was under xpo to cross, but the doors said Conway. It's been straightened out now.

As I recall HS, you and I had the "cautiously optimistic let's wait and see" attitude. I'm just curious, how much longer do we remain that way? I'm starting to second guess myself!

My optimism is fading. It seems to be profits over people. The 401K was a big wake up call.

With everything going on in this country right now, I am very discouraged. It doesn't seem like there is any direction to go that doesn't strengthen the position of those trying to take it all for themselves. I am beginning to believe capitalism has failed. That America has failed. And socialism is inevitable. This election is horrific. And the result will be catastrophic. Just my thoughts.

More to do with crossing the border than driving around in Canada.

I'm right there with you, I just hope you're not "feeling the Bern"! I know that's not the answer(socialism that is).

For the rebrand? I'm talking in general, when will we start to see some positive changes? Attitude, operational, managerial. Just a little communication would be all many need, in my opinion.
the current night f.o.s that we have has always been our best! if you look at the post about my fri-nite 2 weeks ago<ugly freight on dock for all to see>that even dave is pressured to get cube over quality/right thing to do! N-U-M-B-E-R-S, N-U-M-B-E-R-S ,N-U-M-B-E-R-S . until this changes nutt'n will!!!!!

I am beginning to believe capitalism has failed.
What America is witnessing currently, is NOT capitalism, it's CRONY capitalism, because all of those bastards in Washington are more concerned about lining their own pockets than they are concerned about the American citizens.
True capitalism, which hasn't been on display in a long time here, helps everyone advance, where crony capitalism only helps the elites and the filthy rich. (And look at how the middle class is stagnant, and the big shots are getting more wealthy.)

That America has failed. And socialism is inevitable.
America is becoming one huge failure, and You could be right that socialism is inevitable, but that also means that our country's total collapse is inevitable also. Socialism has failed every time that it has been tried.

As far as I'm concerned, and this goes for every trailer loaded company wide (even city trailers), if it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit, period. If you are going back to Siney on an empty, put all the ugly freight on an empty. If you aren't on an empty, your cube is tight, lots of ugly freight of which you Mainers get a lot, load the van high and tight-dockworkers, and keep your pups the same as best you can. If you go over, you go over. The Conway crunch should not come into play. But if you are on an empty and it comes down to damaging freight or going to another trailer, I go to another every time. When I train people to load, I try to get them to think about the person on the other end, your internal customer, and how will it be to unload. I know it can't always work out, it is the freight business and damage happens, but as a rule, our freight should travel damage free.

While I agree, what will people do ? Already having to legislate $15 minimum wages. And our wages haven't gone up. We still get paid like it's the 80's. Only after inflation and without 100% health care or sick days or pensions. It's so much worse than the 80's.

Out of control debt. And you saw what they did to the ACA.

Democracy has failed every time as well. The average democracy lasts 250 years. And how old is America ? 1776-2016

Money means nothing to the average politician since it isnt their money. They spend more, then take more from us, while they stuff their pockets with kickbacks.

America is supposed to be a Republic not democracy.

Which it is. You pick a candidate and then the one that gets elected is free to do as they wish until the next election. It's a democratic Republic. Well, actually it's a capitalistic Republic. Because it's currency that truly controls everything. But the currency is out of control and we are heading towards socialism at break neck speed.
