I saw the recruiter job opening posted again. Is it so busy they need more or did the other ones get tired of sitting at the truck stops and county fairs with JB Hunt giving out log book rulers?
 
It sounds like they need to quit worrying about getting more recruiters, and get more people to process drivers thru the system who have already been hired, and get them working faster. Why in the world would any trucking company need more recruiters when there are so many more constructive ways they could spend the money?
 
I believe the recruiters are needed more for filling seats in the team trucks. Those are the bread and butter of trucking operations.
 
With the H.O.S. change looming, they might be getting ready for a hiring frenzy.We have some monster meet and turns that may get effected by this and they will have to revamp the whole logistical field of operations.
