I think i'll take a PTO day and sit here and read truckingboard posts all night Monday; It's hard to read driving down the highway..
 
Really high speed I know more people through out the system but I'm not saying **** mostly cause I'm unsure. Like everyone else' wait n see
 
I just hope they are stupid enough and blue blooded to be so petty Monday to throw the on the fence employee to the dark side...
Reality is they had a terminal petition and win representation .. They can dispute it but it happened and will happen again because they are in denial or arrogant to admit a revolution is happening..
 
They have the window right now to open the war chest and give the peasants enough to shut up and get in line .. What is stopping them?
 
Work is for people.
People are not livestock.
You have more people with more educations and financial mindedness than ever right now........theyve all followed the business is for profits only philosophy .................and you have more people on welfare and socialism than ever.
When union numbers were high you didnt have that.
Im for capitalism.
Your business is for profits only philosophy brings socialism.
The businessmen and educated make more and more by shoving it off on the govt.

Your way eventually brings heardheartedness for profits and violent revolution.
My way is to simply allow workers dignity and say in the economy through contract and union.
Much more peaceful and respectful solution leading to needs being met in the market without govt providing it.

Now all of that. I agree with.

So the question is now.... What do you think we should be compensated ?

We are already much better off than most. How much should we want to make without becoming one of those horrible people you describe ourselves ?

Don't forget that there are also TWO top out rates now. At my barn, the guys who were already topped out before the raises came out stayed at what they were at. Anyone else who topped out after that were given 40 cents less.

We had two guys who missed topping out at the old rate by ONE DAY.

As good or better. OD is already at $24.95 in my area and fixing to go up more as I was informed today.

When I say different pay scales, it's with respect to top rate. There will be different top rates....actually there has been so much information pumped into my brain in the last couple days..I don't know what is going on. Maybe all rumors, but fun, that's for sure.
