Is there a rhyme or reason as to how they number their barns or just as they build a new one??

Just curious, FXFE in St Louis is designated STL/500 the stl is obvious but I don't know how they come up with their numbers either.

The first number in the terminal number is indicative of the region that the terminal is in.

Example 100's would be the northeast...
Mass, N Hampshire, Vermont, New York (merto) Pa, Jersey, and Md.

200's would be slightly west .....Buff, Rochester, Erie, Ohio and Mich.

300's even further west.....Illinois, Indy, Wisconson, Kentucky

400's moves us south to Ga, Alabama, well by now I guess you get the picture. All you have to do is look at the numbers and the states and you will see how they have been configured. For a change, I guess it seems logical.

So while some Missouri is 3 and TX is 5 it then goes back to 6 in IL the carolinas VA and such, that threw me a curve.

hi DS 237 is in a little town called Plattsburgh 60 miles south of montreal. About 30 miles west of burlington. Have a great day.
