R&L | Roberts gave out raises

When you personally attack other posters you do have to defend yourself. Clearly you can't carry on an intelligent debate without resorting to these methods. I could easily argue that you are ignorant because you don't care if you are being paid equally with drivers in other markets for the work you are doing. I don't, however, think you are ignorant. I believe it is a matter of personal preference. It is also a matter of personal opinion you think that 99% of people are happy at RL. You will never find a large company where 99% of the people are happy with their jobs. Again, a difference of opinion. I am not going to attack you even though I know you are wrong. Also, please spare me the God this, and God bless that. An honorable Christian would not be on here attacking other posters.

Personally, I hope driver 9 opens the hotline. I am very interested in what he has to say.

Driver9 Were do you get all your info. Have you worked at every Term. ? Or are you pulling this out of the air? The company has had a 1% growth. And you act as if you are the one in upper mgnt. Do you have all the terms wired. What is going on in Vegas? Are you informed of the SB that are in Vegas? And do you have any info if we will open up lanes to Mexico direct from Las Vegas? Well we move in on the show freight if YRC goes down? I hope you will look into all of these things for us in Las Vegas.

Of course he is disgrunted. At 61 to lose your wife after a two year fight with cancer take bereavement and come back get demoted, then fired after 15 years of service. This gentleman is protected by ADA and has just cause to take action because his replacement is much younger. Two ways to go - File EEOC for an investigation OR Legal Action. I would first file the EEOC complaint - once their findings have been determined in favor of this man, case will never go to trial... Hey Joe - your retirement money.... :police:
 
You sound like an outside organizer. We are all grown men and know how to take care of ourselves. When the time comes that I don't like it here or feel that I am being treated unfairly I will pack up and go somewhere else. The raises given out were to the people who weren't at top pay,ask them how they feel about not being left behind. It takes 5 years to get to top pay so I would imagine that alot of the people out west got raises because we haven't been out there that long. Why are you so concerned about what someone else makes? I sit in the drivers room every night with people that make more than me and people that make less than me,we never sit around and compare size(of pay checks). When you get over the comparing size thing then you will be satisfied with what you have.

I am definately not an outside organizer and I dont compare size. You are absolutely right we are all grown men. Some men dont know if they are being mistreated and it will be my life long mission to inform all other employees when and how they are being mistreated and when R&L breaks the law or skirts the law. If you are one of those line haul drivers that set in the drivers room for two to three hours before dispatch decides where to send you, YOU are being mistreated. File a complaint with the wage and hour board and contact DOT. Those hours should be logged as "on duty not driving". Do you chock your tires or when you pull your trailer out were the tires chocked? I can tell you, they are not and that is a OSHA violation and will be reported. You are a valuable employee and what is hidden from you I can help uncover and give clear direction on a solution. By 10PM Friday night you can find me on job vent to aquire the info line. You have no idea who is happy and who is not. If you are a line haul driver (which I doubt) you see your slip driver.
I have spent the last four months contacting dock workers, drivers, directors, managers and supervisors. 90% of the employees I have spoken to are scared for thier job. This happy horse-shshitt you spread is :eck13:inine. You think I am an outsider and I think you are one of the family or the man that orders the football uniforms or the man that gets all the Bengals autographs for L2. Many management people on this site just to attack the truth. What are you scared off.

Do you set in the drivers room with your laptop? Did you pull over and make a post at 1:19AM? Delay of freight should have been terminated! I would suggest everyone look at your post and times. Let me guess are you the one that told me to buy casino stock (I was in your office as you were buying online) because when the economy is bad people still drink and gamble. Or are you the one that condones teenage drinking in the back yard by the pool or are you the one that married a trailer girl with two boys.

A 1% growth at reduced revenue and a higher O.R. is in reality a loss. I will

Just a question, did senior get another new plane this year? He got ANOTHER one last year because "I couldn't stand up in the Lear".

You were correct all most about JR.the former TM. Little more to it. But You know alot. Are you a fromer LSV Line driver that just moved back east? If not you must be in front office in OH.

By what bases are you making the statement that Holland drivers are greedy? We just took a fifteen percent pay cut over the past year. The wage that we were making, before the pay cut was in line with what you are making right now, so how is that being greedy. I am employed by Holland Motor Freight, my parent company is YRCW, if you have issues with YRC then take them up with those folks, and leave the fine men and women at Holland alone.
