All they p&d drivers were called in for a meeting this am. Someone made the comment to the terminal manager quote "sefl does not care about there senior drivers anymore, all the care about is numbers". he responded by saying " well thats exactly right senority has nothing to do with. its all about performance and productivity". there you go straight from the bulls mouth, so tommorrow we all decided to wear our rubber boots b/c of all the BS that is going on

It's all about the numbers!!!!! Their numberseverything about how they respond to the very group who gives them their numbers,is demoralizing talk about biting the hand that feeds you?????????!!!!!!!!

where are all the "the company is just like family" people when someone makes a stupid statement like that. it is like telling grandpa you are no longer wanted because you can"t run as fast as youre grandson. a statement like that will get them a age discrimination lawsuit

Daytripper you are so rite. What it seems to be here is as long as all is well we will all be one happy family, when the going gets tough, they will weed out all the ones who are not performing up to current expectations based on numbers and exonerate their positions regardless of time and or performance . The sad part here is that in this state of Florida we have 2 or 3 very unproductive associates that are given card 'blanch' based on their retorting to a quality focus based on the name and color of their skin not the issue at hand!

ive seen drivers who have been with the company 10 plus years who are getting wrote up b/c there numbers are not up, but yet they get all the freight off and dont miss any pick ups, and they hire new drivers and give them all the gravy and put a silver spoon in there mouth.
