SAIA | Rumor about tractors

This is somewhat of a rumor. Word is Saia struck a deal with International to buy back the tractors we purchased. We all know the problems most of them are constantly having. They will be replaced with Volvos. This comes from a pretty reliable source. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I heard basically same thing. From shop supervisor. Sure would be nice, I won't hold my breath but will keep fingers crossed

I'm supposed to be using one but I couldn't tell you the number or where it is. I guess I will keep using the spare Volvo tandem. Yeah me.

With the MPG the Volvo's are getting I don't see how they can resist I just got one and it averages 7.5-8.0 MPG from Jcy to Atlanta over the mtns
