As of right now. PJAX is still operating as an independent company. Their year-end numbers had no bearing on the numbers of Vitran. You got yours. We didn't.
According to the big wigs, the merger will/has to happen right around Oct. Plus or minus a month.
Issue of pay differences was brough up during the meeting. The answer from the VP and Director was that the 40 week will remain, and at least, in the merged terminals, the 45 hour week will be gone.
In Louisville the starting wage as a driver is 15.50 and tops out at 19.64 in four years.
What's the pay scale at PJax's Louisville terminal???

That makes me sad they didn't get their bonus.
I'm just heartbroken for those guys too. Just think, when they take there summer vactions...they only get to spend 3 weeks Hawaii instead of four.
