Another really bad Houma feeling comes after feeling relieved because you have have somehow stumbled across the terminal after you have been utterly lost, in Houma, in the early hours with no one around. You may have come in the back driveway, but you are there. Why the bad feeling, there is no back entrance.

Has been stated that Indy plans on Moving in 2016. They are looking for a new location. Don't know if it is a new or existing terminal though.

As far as potholes go no terminal has anything on GRL(Garland TX). It looks like its been hit by a few earthquakes.

In the world of trucking, sometimes no news is good news. All the drama that goes on in other forums indicates turmoil and a disgruntled workforce. The quietest forums are usually the ones that have very little to complain about. I really have to reach to find something bad about this company. Nothing is perfect but in the world of LTL trucking it gets no better than SAIA. Of course, that's just my opinion.

You know what Train? I gotta agree with you, I think we have a pretty good deal going on over here too. The best thing I can say is the people. In my short time over here I don't think I've run into anybody with a real sour attitude -except on the trucking boards- but face to face -no. I think that in itself should show that we have a better than OK thing.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself .... Is it a dream? This job is too good to be true. And they say if things are too good to be true it's usually not true. I keep waking up and going to work thinking that perhaps things will change. But after almost two years here things are still the same. Great management and a safety culture that's second to none. I just can't find anything to complain about. I will leave that to others. Some people you can never make happy. It's just in their DNA. With less than two years before I retire I can't thank this company enough for giving me the opportunity to work for them. They have treated me with nothing but respect and for me it just doesn't get any better than that.

I can't complain either, they hired me at 63, and I retired at 68, Saia always treated me fair.
