If you are involved in a major accident in which people are killed and your phone records reveal you were on the phone during that time then SAIA might as well go ahead and pay that million dollar lawsuit that will be coming. AND IT WONT MATTER IF YOUR ON A BLUETOOTH OR NOT!!! Why is this so hard to understand????

I always hear that the phone helps keep them awake on their runs. That it gets boring and they get tired. Look, you won't find a bit of sympathy from me. It's not like you have been up 24 hours straight working in the oil fields or the coal mines doing back breaking work. It's your job as a professional truck driver to get your proper rest and be able to focus during your run however long that may be. I've done linehaul in my 44 year LTL career. It can be done. I'm living proof. And let me say I did it without air conditioning for few years. This generation is weak and spoiled. Cry me a river, why don't you? Just do your job, and be grateful you have it.

We're on the cutting edge of technology, guys. We're so advanced, we're using a system program that came out in 1987 and are the only big company left running an antiquated paper dock. :bgroovy: :duh: :hysterical:

With safety we are. Perhaps if some of our drivers didn't need to be babysit so they don't cost the company millions in needless lawsuits with careless accidents we could invest more in infrastructure and better operational technology.

I guess that's why we received that safety award, right? You know, the one that management tried to pass off as being a result of the nanny-cams, but in reality was from the time period right BEFORE the cameras were even rolled out?

Lol, keep on spewing your broken record propaganda...

First you said we were paying out millions in lawsuits and couldn't afford to invest in infrastructure and operational technology. Now it's all unicorns and rainbows and we're making tons O'money. Once again the train is running on a circular track...

All too often I see your Saia drivers talking on the phone while driving. I wonder if your safety department would give me cash incentives for reporting those folks...interesting thought

I don't think any line drivers will lose sleep over your opinion.

Way to ignorantly compare apples to oranges. Both are round so they must be the same right.

Is this another thing you were less then adequate at?
