SAIA | Saia moving to Northeast

I'll have to look again on Mon., but I believe it said something about relocating and 50-60% traveling. My memory isn't the greatest toward the latter part of the week.

I am sure SAIA already has National Account Managers for the northeast.

Every major trucking company already has guys throughout the US.

They cover where the freight is controlled out of, not where the freight ships out of.

For example, New England Motor Freigh does not have terminals in the south, but they still have Home Depot business which is controlled out of Georgia.

Some live in the area, others travel 2-3 times per month

Can any of you Say'ya guys tell me what that meant? I say 'meant' 'cause I haven't noticed it on the newer tractors.

Maybe SCS had it removed from the paint scheme to save money, and look good to the stockholders, huh? Or, more likely, they don't believe in caring, OR sharing. :sadwavey:

Oh they care alright. They take great care in making sure that all drivers share the burden when corporate makes really stupid decissions that end up hurting our goal of picking up and delivering freight to make money. They would rather save one hundred dollars than make a thousand dollars.
