OOH-OOH Mr Cotter! Can we put signs up so the bats would know a wind turbine is near, like the deer crossing signs that tell deer where to cross at?

I agree something needs to be done, put guards over them or something.
Every creature needs saving we're losing to many.
And while we're at it how many lives are lost to air pollution such as coal burning?
I think its pretty large a number, have you know someone perhaps family member with lung & bronchial disorders.
Asthma kills people we don't think about it but yes you can die from a asthma attack, kids especially.
I'm certain its a daily occurrence but no one writes about it

How about some more over-exaggeration of pollution Mags? Have you seen pictures of cities from the teens and 20's? Just about every house burned coal for heat, during the winters you were lucky to see 20 feet, the smoke was so bad. ALL of the environmental wacko's of today need to do some research, they will find that todays air, even in the inner cities, is pristine compared to 100 years ago at the beginning of the industrial revolution. As for allergies, a lot of those can be contributed to children spending more time indoors in man made air conditioned houses. Kids don't play outside enough any more, where they would develop and enforce their immune systems. We use antibacterial soaps that also weakens our immune systems, some bacteria's are good for human beings, yet we purposely avoid contact with many of them.

I laugh when I see kids, ridding bikes in the hood and with helmets on...lol
We also had ramps... to get air.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who wonders why so many kids have peanut allergies, which was practically unheard of just a generation or two ago. One theory is that kids are being overly protected in their sterile environment (ie not playing outside in the dirt and mud and climbing trees etc.).

Their bodies are not being exposed to the things needed to strengthen the immune system, becoming more fragile and susceptible to viruses and illness. The same can be said for these Purell addicts who are constantly cleaning their hands and scared to touch anything. Eventually the body loses its ability to protect itself.

Time to shut down all forms of energy and move back into the caves
    fossil fuels pollute
wind kills birds and bats as does solar
    burning trees hurts the eco-system
nothing left for mankind to do except a mass suicide to leave mother earth as God intended.
    and this is "progress"

Woody I wear mine every ride. Saved my bro this year when he went down on a down hill at 35 mph and front tire blew out on him. His head bounced off the curb and without it on he prob wouldn't have been ok. I went down once as well this season and was glad I had it on too.
