It's possible. On the weekends you roll on your 10 so it's easier to manipulate when you get home.

I was told in my interview I could stay out for 2 weeks...but I cannot do a 34 in a hotel, if I overrun my hours....and I'd get home on a monday(leaving weds) and be expected to leave back out after a 34 at home. Assuming this is the same if I go out for 3-4 weeks.

The earliest I have been in an a wed start Was 10 pm on a Sunday. I would not expect to be in on Sunday at all. Possibly if you leave early on wed you could get done earlier. Central will let you stay out as many restarts as you want the terminal you run out of does not handle your dispatches. Central does your TM, could raise a issue with them but I have not heard of it.

I took many 34 hour resets in hotels. Told central I needed a reset and they said talk to you in 34...

Just make sure you don't run out of hours in Minneapolis, Indianapolis, or Kansas City.

I would figure out which terminal has the nice hotels so you can take a 34 there, STL I'll take a 34 every time that pear tree hotel is nice!

yeah...I read on here where someone was pointing out the hotel in KC...Indianapolis I broke down last summer and stayed at an OK, hotel they staff was just rude as hell....so I'm sure I'll keep those cities in mind and figure out which hotel to use at those cities! Thanks for the heads up.

Don't get stuck in Harrisburg for your 34. Not a damn thing to do. Too far to the casino and minor league baseball stadiums. Checked under and it would be $40 just to the stadium while over $50 to the casino. Plus hotel isn't the best but I've stayed at worse

NOT a gambler at all....and not a minor league ball fan....Major league YES! haha Well...passed my drug and physical(DUH!) and now just got done verifying my background check....hopefully that'll only take 2 weeks. I had a few mistakes over 3 years ago, on my license(no accidents!), and safety approved of my app so I know I'm all good to go from here on out....haven't murdered my wife, yet....she hasn't murdered me yet, either! haha

:shit:, if you have homicidal tendencies then you should reconsider your career in trucking. :)

The Lord tests me almost every day with these maniacs out on the roads.

Room 210 indy has bed bugs. I have 15+ bites. Sleep well so sad that they will not handle this.

I got a few bites at that nasty days inn and Columbia and at Bay Inn in Mobile. I thought rubbing alcohol and bed bug spray would keep me safe but these things are undetectable most times and unstoppable.

They're bad these days. Don't matter how nice of a motel. They're everywhere.

This has kinda been covered in this thread already but......if you have a call time of 1700 Wednesday night and you get in at noon on Monday does that mean dispatch won't try to call you out before 1700 on Wednesday ? I work at another LTL place and the phone can ring at any time if you have hours.

Probably would never bother you before 1700 Wed unless swamped with freight and they need to get trailers off the yard to make room based on my experience.

Probably the biggest reason I wanted off of the road was because of the bed bugs. I got to the point where I became an extremely light sleeper and was tired all the time. I used to sleep like a rock but now just the AC kicking on and the air moving a hair on my body can wake me up.
