NFL coaches put in such insane hours that it's probably not much of a stretch to say that, for most guys, there are two things in their life: family and football. Things are not going well for Sean Payton on either front.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that Payton, already suspended by the NFL for a year, has filed for divorce from his wife. Here are some details, if you're interested, via Ryan Jones of the Times-Picayune:
The petition lists the grounds for divorce as "discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."
The filings indicate that Payton, who has been suspended for the 2012 season by the NFL, has already moved out of his Westlake, Texas, home in the Dallas suburbs, where he lived with Beth Payton and their two children....................
