No thats not the point but I figured you wouldn't get it anyway. Its information and while the union may not be able save people on layoffs but at least when they rehire they have go by the contract and not just hire anyone they feel like it.

This is all very entertaining. If you want to be union find a union job elsewhere. You don't go else where because you dont want to be a casual for friggin ever. So you would rather screw your co-workers for your personal benefit....lazy *** go find your own "union" job.....guess you cant.
Oh by the way, let's all show our union pride and spread the word preacher man..union vs non-union...no brainer. Take control of you own life rather than hiring an adult babysitter......still have your adult children living at home, rather than leading a prosperous life......thats what I thought

Some of you poster need to refresh your knowledge of trucking boards rules. They apply to all who post here. I apologize for some of the post that have gotten by on this thread. I have removed them and if this member wishes to continue to post here he WILL abide by the same rules as everyone else.

No apology needed. Moderating a forum is difficult and very time consuming. Sometimes a few get by. We are adults (well most of us are) and I think we can handle the occasional poster with an attitude. Thanks for chiming in. Its nice to know you and most of us take pride in these forums being informational and decent.

I think everyone should display the Teamster logo on their shirt or hat. On a side note, I met a guy who had just lost his job from a non-union shop just after they had voted against union representation. Then he was walking around unemployed wearing a T-shirt that said "union free and proud" !!
