Here is the story, my route 1156 cases for 17 stops, dipped an hour into my 16 and still showed at the yard and hour and 10 min ahead, not bad for an old guy trying not to bust his ass on the ice!!!! Shuttle drivers came in and pulled empties to Norman to get them out of the yard as it was a pain in the ass to get the snowed in ones out last time. I had to be taken to a driver out of hours with a Tulsa shuttle driver to finish a route, the shuttle guy had to drive, I unloaded...as fast as I could mind you, as he still had to make the trip to Norman and bobtail back, I stayed up so if he got in a bind I could jump in my pickup and get him, I have jumpers and chains and all that, he called me safe at the yard and I went to sleep, got up this afternoon and I'm ready to roll @ 0100, thats my start but I'm coming in @ midnight just to be safe. Just a day in the life of a grocery thrower, I am praying for spring!! Hurry spring!!!
