I just quit. I used all of my vacation but I have 34hrs of sick time left. I get that in my last paycheck, right?

Yes you should get it. I'd be very surprised if you didn't.

Thats what I thought. I just couldnt find specific language in the contract. And you know these people, if its a grey area they'll take advantage

Dayton freight, simply because they arent in the local (which is terrible) and they are the closest to my house. I might be union again, just not until changes are made.

34 years 5NC.Canes and getting the 5th wheel ready to head to the coast. You know being a truck driver and being line to boot took me away from what I would call a normal life most have with their families. I intend to start making that up. The grand kids are still young and I'm still young at heart. Best of luck with you and family and God Bless...

Yea I'm twenty Nine years old and I've been here six years and Line haul so I understand what you mean. I'm very happy for you, thirty four years is a long time and you deserve it. God bless you and your family also and be safe out there Skeeter.

Your in a good spot for your age no matter what your seniority is. Would love to switch over there myself 31 and build time in. Local 509 BA and gaffney road operations would break my piggy bank so I will sit and see how things change.

I understand man.I hope it gets better in the next contract. A lot of young people will in my opinion have a much greater outcome on which way this contract go. No offense to Skeeter but a lot of old heads voted yes cause they was going to retire before the next contract came. They told me this to my face lol. Just hang in there brother.
