How did you do^
I was ineligible this year due to a 4 pack of 17 year olds in a Toyota Corolla that decided to change 3 lanes diagonally into the side of my KW. I attended as a Kansas Road Team Captain volunteer.

I'm sorry, but its called a competition for a reason. Competitions have winners and losers. That is why they keep score. This "give everyone a trophy for 1st is ridiculous". This is why the 30 and younger group thinks the world owes them a living and anything they might want. They have not been raised in a culture where the harder you work the more you will have in life( most of the time). Sports and competitions teaches intestinal fortitude and makes us strive to work hard to be the best we can be in sports, faith, and life. If winning didn't matter all of the years, why have we always kept score. Good luck too all and congratulations to The Winners. Then I would agree. This event serves no purpose and has outlived any usefulness that some of you may have seen. It not only drains the resources of participating carriers, but it envolkes a rather Neanderthal approach long seen as politically incorrect. The "I'm better than you" mentality is the thing of the past and if in fact it does continue in the modern age, then I would strongly suggest each participant receive a first place trophy. Thank you for allowing me to present my side to this matter. Respectfully, -Bernie S.
