Sitting for hours as unhealthy as smoking

this is why so many doctors say to get "some exercise". just a few minutes each day, and maybe a bit more on the weekends.

on my job, as an example, i have to unload my trailer at 3 stops i make each night. as a result, i walk into and out of that trailer several times. now this may not be exercise as we know it to be, but it gets me up and out of the driver's seat for several minutes each stop.

people that work in an office setting, may want to consider taking thier 30 minute lunch break out side and do a brisk walk..for at least 15 minutes..???
