SAIA | SLC terminal-yard improvements?

Any improvements yet to SLC yard;specifically the dirt/mud issue? Heard through the rumor mill that something would be done.Not asphalt but something that would be about as good.

That will be ok until it rains then you have mud mixed with crushed rock. When I first came to SAIA our yard was all dirt except for the concrete apron around the dock. I've seen it so bad that there were holes big enough to swallow the steering axle on the tractors. Muddy when it rained and actually one time when it froze during Jan or Feb the yard improved. Then came the thaw.....

That was about 10 years ago, now it is all hard surfaced yard.

Just was speaking was speaking with one of our drivers SLC still has problems with the yard.

Maybe us here UPSF will get a new yard and you all can have this fine peice of real estate that we call home.....Paved yard little rough though and the building....Well the yard is OK....
