First off, get your facts straight, it is not a "union", its an association. That should send up a red flag!!! Now that you will be joining them, that makes three members, and you can have a quarrum. :biglaugh: :hysterical:

I wouldn't waste my time following a few malcontents (who I really have another word for but I won't use it here) who don't pay dues to the Teamsters but enjoy the hard fought benefits that the Teamsters fought for...not the apwa. Slave? You might want to ask Allspin if he really wants you representing the apwa here. You're getting upset and making very rash statements about what's going to happen in the LTL sector. Oh, that's right......you know more than all the rest of us.....I must have forgotten that.

I figured you out in your 1st post when you said KC will FALL.

SLAVE, have you been to every 'major' hub to verify this? Also what do you consider a major hub?

Also UPGF workers: just like APWA I too have started a new union. Send me money and I will straighten this all out. I am a little behind the APWA because I don't have a fancy name or initials yet, but I have just as much experience as them in running my new union.

BTW, if you read back a little in this forum, you will see why were "bashing" the apwa.

But wheres the answers to my questions?

Is there going to be local union offices for all of our terminals to address local issues?

A simple yes,or no will do.

I don't want to belong to any organization that I'm not going to get some representation from my monthly dues payments.

What would posting that prove? The guys right here from the Northeast know what's going on in their areas and they talk about it here. Wait and you'll see it unfold when the UPSF Contract is finalized and ratified by the new Teamsters.

Just how would you propose that they do something about this? Are they under a Teamster contract?

It is a done deal. The Locals are just holding the cards until it's time to declare and vote on the upcoming Teamster negotiated UPSF agreement. We already know this is happening. You just might want to listen to somebody other than the posers who are the apwa.
