I mean... you're at roughly $25 an hour now, no? It's been a while since I looked up the pay.Next 3 years $35.00, then $37.00 + more or we WALK OFF THE JOB And that's $35.00 a hour
He’s lost his mind!! That’s UPS package car type of money. He might as well start walking now because that :: isn’t happening. $37.00??? Now that’s funny.Okay, but what are you currently making? You took the 7% pay cut and have had raises, so I'm just wondering where you guys are.

You actually think you could get $35.00hr ? That’s the funniest thing I’ve read on here in awhile.Right around that. I retired in June and the rate was 24 and some change. There was a pay raise in July so I suppose 25 is about right.
And......he is Right about 35 an hour. There are non-Union carriers starting guys off the street at 24 an hour. I believe UPS Freight is almost 29, if not 30 , by now.
Negotiate high and.....maybe drop back to 30 an hour. Who are they going to hire for replacements?
Because they bust their asses and UPS parcel is one of the largest and most profitable company in the world.Don't forget that other trades such as plumbers and electricians passed up 35 an hour years ago.
And , yes. Package car drivers make that much. Why not us?
up the soap in you pink rearYou know I’m a Venture Capitalist Breeze >>>> It’s not smart to pick up the soap around me. You better keep your eyes and ears open when I’m in town.
Well said.up the soap in you pink rear
Your talking about a $10.00 raise dude. Get real. What are you smoking? Do you realize what percentage of an increase that would be? It’s unheard of and totally unrealistic.Absolutely. I remember having a similar conversation about 20 years ago when a guy told me it was foolish to think truck drivers were worth 18 dollars an hour.
If your trying to say something at least put it in a proper sentence that someone can understand.up the soap in you pink rear
It’s unrealistic. They would be lucky to get $1.50hr. each year. There operation ratio couldn’t sustain anymore. So fundamentally, I agree with you. But you are also talking about a $10 per hour raise in the next three years.
As Warren Buffett said, it all starts with a snowball rolling downhill. Just concentrate on getting a good contract, and see where it leads in time.
Surely not. I was just trying to say that I agree ideologically, but that's a pretty unlikely raise. It’s unrealistic. They would be lucky to get $1.50hr. each year. There operation ratio couldn’t sustain anymore.
$2.00 tops. Just wait and see.Surely not. I was just trying to say that I agree ideologically, but that's a pretty unlikely raise.
