Yeah, I didn't post it thinking it was just a rumor.Where in the world did you dig up that rumor? This is OD where everyone is very grateful to work for the most powerful LTL carrier in the industry. Go to your unions and tell them there’s a new kid in town and he’s coming for your freight while you’re too busy filing grievances.
Thanks for posting info.https://www.nlrb.gov/case/32-RC-214346?order=ds_activity&sort=asc
Well I’ll be damned sure looks like Stockton going to be making one big dumb mistake if they go forward with this.
Maybe there tired of working for free! Most drivers give at least 5 free hours a week waiting on hooks!!Has anybody else heard about the Stockton, CA terminal having a vote tomorrow on possibly joining the union?
It's really not crazy however we do not need a union we get treated very well they just need to pay us right for our fuels drop and hooks breakdown and delay.that's just crazy
Yep, they'll shut it down and move the freight through other terminals. They've already been bringing in SAC drivers. They are voting on it today. But it won’t pass, there’s something like 5 or so p&d guys and 1 line guy in favor of it. If it does pass, the company has told the employees there they will shutdown the terminal.
How about a US Presidential election? Might rival a good union spat, especially this last election...A Warning!! Few issues are more divisive than Unions pro or con Trolling this forum won't be tolerated.
Well,16 less employees.lolSaw elsewhere (unofficially) 19 votes against 16 votes for union representation.
A presidential election comes nowhere near a good Union spat I worked with guys in the'70's that still weren't talking to one another after an organizing drive in 1938!How about a US Presidential election? Might rival a good union spat, especially this last election...
