There's more union guys posting on our forum then Conway guys. If i wanted to be bullied by union mouth pieces I'd go on the union forum. I'm not saying I'm for or against unions so don't start attacking me. I'm just saying there's a union forum for a reason. I go on con ways forum to chat with Conway guys. I'm about to the point of deleting my profile just because of all the crap they start whenever anyone says something they don't agree with.
This is only my opinion and may not be the opinion of my fellow workers. And before they accuse me of being management I'm a 21 year driver in the chicagoland area. I've never pretended to be anything else. A lot of people on here know exactly who i am.

Thats not true, i work for the Teamsters Union! I still hold seniority at YRC and how might you ask that i work for the Teamsters Union and still hold my spot on the YRC seniority board, Because i have a contract that gives me LIFETIME come back rights when i go to work for the Teamsters Union!
And by the way how is my company any worst than Conway? I have a contract, i have a dignity and respect, i have protections and great healthcare. What do you have? Wake up and face the fact that conway workers are fed up and want to union to represent them

Because from my take on your post is that all you anti-union types want to dominate this board with anti-union propaganda and when some union rep steps up and tries to clear all the BS that you guys are spewing i'm going to get censored. well, I thought you were a decent person who could have a discussion.... Now your insinuating I'm bias. I have moderated other forums for years, and this one has gone off the cliff. FYI, I would have no intention on banning anyone, unless they make a personal attack. What I would do is what has been done before; one thread for pro union posts, one thread for anti union posts. If you want to hear and argue pro union, go to that thread. Cluttering the forum with constant pro or anti union posts makes no one want to come here.

To ban someone just because you dont share the same opinion or you want to keep others from forming their own is such a CW corporate tactic. Let folks make up THEIR OWN MIND. Kinda like when they tried to "persuade" me to vote for John McCain....(even though they were almost right on that one.)
exactly. Banning everyone does nothing but hurt a forum; been there, done that. People should make up their own minds, but it's become extremely personal here now, and that's not right. And it's coming from both sides of the coin.
Doesn't matter who gets banned. Conway brought this on themselves. You can't treat humans like garbage without facing some type of consequences. What's scary is some of you are defending this conway treatment. Your really sick to think you don't deserve better pay and treatment in the form of a contract.

This has gotten taken over by the union boys. They aint looking for a conversation. Too many attacks in what they say.

Personally, I belive in free markets. Its a drivers market so if you don't like the job you can find one that suits your needs better. Union guys dont see it that way. They want it all one one playing field. For everyone and every company. That's not free market.
One more thing. Has these union guys referred to anyone other than a worker? They haven't used words like people, employees, men, or women.
Workers is a socialist term used for the "the people". Look it up.

Folks just can't say I disagree and move on. I have never said someone was stoooopid over their opinion(that I recall: if I did, I apologize) but the name calling makes one just as stooooopid as the one they're referring to. Many of us on here don't understand the fact vs myth about union membership. For us to tell a union member what is right or wrong with their job/contract is awfully hard if we've never been in their shoes. If the union supporting guys say something unfactual, we must realize CW will distort the truth and make never ending promises to keep them out also.
If you have a difference of opinion, state your case and move on. If its too much to ask, stay outta the thread. It's that easy.

ummm.. What are you talking about? I never said anything about banning anyone, so I'm not sure where your going with that? As has been posted already, like most forums this one is private. The Canadien government doesn't allow corporations up there to do certain things. Ask him about cameras, vacation, ot, etc..
