I agree with working for a paycheck only, but this whole site is full of disgruntled drivers, from ABF to Ward. For the life of me I can't figure out what is so bad about LTL trucking, and I know it can't be because I work out of Knoxville. And I'm not a spring chicken, I have worked almost all departments, as so have you Lifer, I just don't get the discontentment.

We are not respected and that, my friend, is the bottom line.

I can see how that is discouraging.

At least here on our thread, we get a perspective on what LTL.TL,Dedicated and Flatbed drivers are thinking. We may never agree and argue over issues or personal observations, but in the end we all get along. Do we have the PERFECT company?.....No we don't, but then again if you read ALL of the threads from the other companies....WE AIN'T DOING TOO BAD!:shift:

jeep, this is true. If you think I downright HATE Averitt, you are mistaken. I use TB forum here to vent my frustrations. And no Averitt is FAR FAR from being perfect. On a scale of 1-10 I would say they come in at a stellar 4.726.
