Oh yeah, you just need to know when to jump out of the truck.:hysterical: I run a team run from Akron to Sacramento. So I know Wyoming is the most dangerous part of the trip in the winter but it's so damn beautiful.
I dont do mountains.........:TR10driving03: :woot:

come on toxic i'd like to take you across wyoming along the I80 route.you've got mt sherman, then elk mt. it does get slick out there as it can snow with no warning at all. been snowed under in cheyenne a few times.

It's just like sled riding but with triples going down 6-7 % grades for 13-40 miles covered with ice. Kinda fun actually. Like I said, you just gotta know when to jump out. Aren't the teams coming back to 671 ? I could use a good co-driver, Toxic ?

don't forget the three sisters.

yes what was i thinking, the sisters. you can get around those by taking hwy 30 there at little america and going through kemmerer, but its only good if your going north to idaho,or theres a bad wreck or something.

Jump out??? You got to be kidding??No teams if it means me on a mountian that you have to drop anything.. LOL
When I go I40W from Winston-Salem I do not pass exit 133 (conover, nc) cuz black mountian is lurking ahead LOL

I always have been a city driver since 1987... I just last year bid to the WildBoard (short road trips) last November. I have only been on one mountian in my life in a truck

:Banane01: I would rather be a convience store clerk :Banane01:

i would rather stand on the running boards and look for a soft place to land rather than deal with the drunks and crackheads at the store toxic..ha. ha.

both sound 50 - 50 of getting hurt!

IR CookieMonster, how much time do you sepnd in the Peppermill and Red Garder casinos? I know I took that trip from 211 to Sac a few times when I worked there and we killed more than a few hours there. The buffet at the Peppermill is like no other around here and for $6 you cant beat it. I wish I still had the chance to go out there because now I collect casino chips but have none from there.

We also stopped in Reno on the return trip to kill some time there as well.
