LOL you guys drinking already!
Actually, if the Republican President was a radical that violates our Constitution like Obama has, I'd encourage everyone from both parties to warn the Iranians that the deal is not withstanding, and illegal.
Well, what powers does the Constitution grant to the president regarding this matter? Let's have a look.
Article II Section 2 Clause 2 reads "He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court"
Gee, I don't see a time table, a deadline, or a mandate compelling the Senate to vote on a nominee before a president leaves office or at all, for that matter. I see no wording that compels the Senate to confirm every nominee a president puts forth. Whatever we hear from politicians or media makes little difference when it comes to actual confirmation process.
That subway guy needs a job ?
I think Mark Levin would be a great president. The best this country has had in decades. No one knows the constitution like he does. He damn sure wouldn't let people trample on it like the Democrats have. They won't be happy until we have a full Socialist/Marxist America.
I know the left holds no value in the Constitution until it serves their needs, like now, they want another left winged progressive statist Justice, so now they love the Constitution
when has Hilly or Bernie ever mentioned it
when has Barry
Lets play poker, I will determine the rules as I see fit (please bring lots of money)
that wont happen for the reasons listed above
Progressives are NEVER happy because once the "progress" ends, they no longer have a purpose.
He has got to finish serving his nickel first
Let us look at this from a different perspective
What if it were a Rep President, how would the other side react?
Lets say GWB has a little more than a year to go, which is longer
how would the left react?
Considering you have a sound byte from the #2 Dem in the Senate saying there is no way
the fact the left is acting this why is pure hypocrisy
1988 was most definitely an election year.....as a matter of fact that was the year that H.W Bush was elected President......
Justice Kennedy was nominated in 1987....yes......and he was confirmed in 1988 ......yes....which WAS an election year..... H.W. Bush vs Micheal Dukakis..... remember????
Aren't you hilarious....
Yes...you were wrong.......no apology requested.....nor necessary.......
I'll be returning your meme back to you......
Talk about trying to "re-write" history....... Appears to me you want the "story" both ways......PLUS you want to change the date of the 1988 Elections to the Presidential election of 1987...
We our sick of hugging.....and libs who make everything worse.
That is what I said but in shorter form
The President shall (anytime there is a opening)
