A FedEx truck, carrying hazardous materials, overturned on Interstate 81 Saturday morning. It happened in Jefferson County, near exit four.
Officers say the truck's driver was not seriously hurt, and no other vehicles were involved.
Crews were forced to close two lanes of northbound traffic for several hours during the clean-up, creating significant back-ups. Regardless, officers say extra time is almost always needed when accidents involve hazardous materials.
