An overturned tanker truck that backed up traffic at the North Loop and Eastex Freeway this morning has been cleared from the roadway.
TranStar officials said all lanes at the scene should be open soon.
The tanker truck lost control and overturned on an exit ramp, according to televised news reports.
The 18-wheeler was traveling on the North Loop to the Eastex Freeway northbound around 5 a.m. when it lost control and nearly flipped all the way over, KTRK reported.
