A FedEx Ground trailer truck overturned Monday at approximately 2:23 p.m. while heading southbound from US-75 to the west President George Bush Turnpike overpass.
The truck was hauling two “piggybacked” trailers full of FedEx packages when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled onto its left side.
Eyewitnesses on the scene said that the driver swerved in order to avoid a car that merged in front of the truck.
One of the trailers fell off the overpass and fell onto the ground below next to the southbound Central Expressway service road
