Bingo!...You got it!
Deficit of Truth: What Republicans Hope You Don
The facts are simple enough even for a tea party politician to understand. The federal deficit reached its peak — in dollar amount and as a share of the national economy — in 2009, which happens to be the year that Obama took office.
The ironic consequence, as former White House economist Jared Bernstein recently explained, is that the fiscal outlook for the next 10 years will be somewhat dimmer than expected. In other words, we will return to higher deficits because fiscal austerity — enforced by Republicans and accepted by Obama — is still dragging the economy down.
Has the govt stopped spending?
heck no, it gets bigger on a daily basis, the lie is that there is austerity
Where do copy and paste this **** from.. The funny papers...
WOW its NationofChange | Progressive Journalism for Positive Action
I just found it, it looks good, thanks for asking
Yes they stopped spending.
Spending creates jobs & lowers the need for more spending
You are the first Lonesome Dove I've ever came in contact with Mags....LOL.. You will be a man with only an island when the .....
consumer spending yes
govt spending no
and since the govt is in the way of the economy, we are in the same situation as we were 5 years ago
Spend now or spend later
When the oceans rise I'll be at the beach, I can't wait
Obama called for a one billion dollar fund to protect California from climate Change (the Environmental NAZIS refused to share the water because it might kill a fish). Every budget he has presented has spent ungodly amounts- even the Senate unanimously rejects them. He doesn't care. He moves money UNconstitutionally. The Repubs are afraid of being called ******- so they let him do it. A Sad State of Affairs in Washington when the only person with gonads is EVIL!
The Left's Standard Operating Procedure is to lie about their opponent. Then the opponent gets tied up trying to disprove a negative. Once the public is allowed to have the Left decide who/what something is- the story is written and almost impossible to change....
the left is like the Engerizer bunny, they just keep going and going
They have fixed nothing with BarryCare now on to the next "project"
Jimmy, you are correct, they just keep surging forward. The right tries to deal with the problems created but there is no point the left has moved on
That's because this stuff that we bring up are just "phony scandals". And ObamaCare is working great. There's nothing left to see here folks......move along now.
ObamaCare is not working great, but we will make it work great and not throw it out.
It's a turd that needs to be flushed. Even Barry knows that, that's why he keeps changing the language and delaying every part of it. He's too deep into defending BarryCare now, so he can't even think about eliminating it. It's his legacy that's at stake. Instead, he does what Dictators do, and he really don't care what it's doing to "the folks".
He's no longer Zero; he's become Nero- golfing while the USA burns...
Then why might I ask, should we be paying for it, if it's not working.. Kinda like buying a car with no engine... You just pay for the car, but you can't drive the damn thing.. Do away with it, go back to the drawing board and let people have their money back until they get it right.. It's not working at all Mags, not "it's not working great"...
The War on the Poor. Don't yet have links but heard of op-eds by Walter E Williams and Thomas Sowell. (Blacks/ Conseevatives/ Professors of Economics) guys I admire for their wisdom, honesty, and accuracy. The figures are: White Single Poverty is 13%. Black Single Poverty is 35%. Mostly because Black single parebthood that Was 14% in the 60s is now 72%. Black Married in poverty is only 8%. Pretty much sounds like irresponsible making babies causes poverty. What a concept!
A single aspirin- held in place by the girl holding her knees together, could cure a lot of poverty!
Medicare was set up so the poor would not have to worry about healthcare
If this worked, why did we need BarryCare. After all it was sold as the poor not being able to afford insurance
The War on Poverty was started to erradicate poverty from the USA, 50 years and trillions of dollars later we still have more poverty
Social security was set up so people would be able to retire and not sink into poverty when they became old, yet, old people are one of the fastest growing poor demographics
Three govt programs, tens of trillions spent and none of them are accomplishing the goals there were set up for.
The fixes dont work, they just cost more money.
