After 18 working in a non-driving job, I am thinking about getting my CDL and starting to drive. I am thinking about going to a school instead of going through a trucking company as I've heard some not too good things about doing this, basically they own you for a year if not longer.Is this correct?
Lord willing, once I get my CDL I was wondering which companies are the best to get on with? Or who should I avoid?
Basically, any advice is welcome as I am a greenhorn.
