FedEx Freight | Thoughts on the change of operations for clt & gsp, that takes place in october?

Again, it's unusual for terminals outside of this region to post about Charlotte's change of operations or have a meeting about it period. We have NEVER had a meeting about what another terminal in another region gained/lost in a change of operations when we ourselves weren't affected. And I doubt they have either until now......

I'm not saying that and you don't know what I assume or think. But I KNOW that some of these meetings occurred at terminals with no COO whatsoever.
"the change of operations at a foreign center (Charlotte) when these same terminals aren't affected!"
That's exactly what you said!!
And...is it not ok to acknowledge the change of operations at these centers?? It's called keeping your employees informed!!

Times have changed....I'm guessing their looking to avoid another ULP!!

No I said that at some terminals outside of this region that weren't affected by any change of operations they still either posted literature or had a meeting about the change of operations in Charlotte. So what? It's a true statement. And it's not a common practice and it had a motive behind it that drivers at these very centers could plainly see.

Again, it's what you choose to see....I think you're reading to much into it, looking for something that isn't there.

And your minimalizing it and enabling the company.
Again, you're reading into something that isn't there....making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Wasn't it you who agreed that "EVERYTHING goes through legal"...I'm sure whatever you "think" is happening was cleared by legal, no harm, no foul.

It's not a common practice for terminals all over the system to have a meeting or literature posted about the change of operations at a foreign center (Charlotte) when these same terminals aren't affected! To suggest otherwise is laughable.

Exactly the change of operation didn't have anything to do with any terminal in WV but we still had the pre shift.

Hmmm keeping your employees informed huh. I wonder what happened to the monthly videos when we had petitions???? I guess we don't need to be informed when there are no petitions to nlrb.

To accommodate drivers from 15 locations, going in and out of GSP nightly, the gains, said to be expected at GSP:

+5 Forklifts (donated, pride of the fleet)

+7 "spare" trucks (donated, pride of the fleet)

+4 mechanics (to keep up with donated, pride of fleet):poke:

Perhaps, 4 part time dock positions. (midnight-3:00/4:00)

Said to be the 1st phase of "good things" coming/going to GSP...:wee:

What you may be overlooking is the fact that once GSP officially becomes a mini hub, there will be extra runs generated...hence the over hiring of drivers along with the additional equipment being brought in. Again, I'm no freight flow specialist but it's almost impossible to keep all of the lanes even on any given night, thus extra hub runs should be available. Because these extra runs generated are in fact extra and not bids, they can't be added to your list but I'm quiet certain they'll materialize once things get up and running....IMO.
Patience grasshopper, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Extra freight does NOT equal extra runs, Red. Extra (overflow) can and will likely still be directed via CLT. Did you know there are purchase trailers also available in GSP to handle longer distance over flow freight. It takes a good bit of "extra" freight to make an extra run.

I said before, I'm not that concerned with it, so yall can debate it among yourselves. Just think about the realistic likely scenario, before hoping for an occasional "extra". Where is that freight flow study guide?:poke: J/K, Red.
