Three Picayune Ms. women died Thursday when their Lexus SUV was hit head-on by a tractor-trailer that had swerved to avoid a ladder fallen from a pickup truck on Interstate 12.

the ladder was not secured.the truck driver and vehicles swerved to avoid the ladder.2 women died the night of the wreck,the 3rd the following morning.the truck driver was fatally injured.he was standing on his brakes trying to stop,witnesses even said so.the ladder was in the back of a pick up drove by a fireman for st.bernard parish.it definitely was not the truck drivers fault......
