just like to know if any other barns have the same problem? terminal 313 (Milwaukee WI) has 5 to 6 supers. standing around to watch 30 dock guys doing their jobs. they spend half the time outside playing grab a-- with each other. we are way overstaffed. the company can really save a buck here. yellow is in the same terminal they have only 1 to 2 sups. at a time.:smilie_132:

1 Sup. per 30 guys is pleanty if you have the right dock personell!

sounds 2 me like good things are coming your way on this next change. They would not keep that many sups around if they were not gonna need em in the future. Thank 705 they are gonna make everyone around them prosper!!!

120 still has the same # of supervisers now with 35 guys as they did with 300 they now have 1 sup for ever 3-4 workers that are on the dock

i'd say they need 3 if they can handle it, if they can't handle it then just keep hiring till one of them gets run over by a forklift then stop hiring
