if you live up north the top pay is higher, the closer to NYC the higher the top pay, I'm going to say 23.00-24.00 an hr. but if I'm wrong I'm sure I will be quickly corrected

The North always pays more in most cases because the cost of living is higher....You guys are probably correct.

In Ct's back pocket (detroit) the top rate for CT "proper" and new hires was 20.50 if you were Vitran and above that you kept your pay (at least they claimed you did but with the way payroll was done who knew how many hours or at what rate you were paid for) but you were on a "pay freeze" till their top rate exceeded your rate ( for me it was looking to be 6-12 years)
